Teaching Aims
(1) Study this lesson to know more about Britain.
(2)The students are trained to improve their reading ability.
(3) Learn about the language points concerned with the lesson.
Teaching procedures
Step 1 Presentation
教師活動(dòng)：教師展示大不列顛地圖，（見(jiàn)ppt.）然后進(jìn)行設(shè)問(wèn)，教師讓學(xué)生積極參與，課堂氣氛活躍。
學(xué)生活動(dòng)：學(xué)生看著地圖，找出問(wèn)題的答案。
Show the Britain map then find out the position of the countries.
1.Where is Britain?
2.Where is England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales?
Step 2 Watch the Video
教師活動(dòng)：教師演示課文視頻(見(jiàn)ppt.)，并且給學(xué)生簡(jiǎn)易地圖，學(xué)生能夠找出各個(gè)國(guó)家及首都的位置。教師提問(wèn)各別學(xué)生。
學(xué)生活動(dòng)：學(xué)生通過(guò)簡(jiǎn)易地圖，說(shuō)出并且找出各個(gè)國(guó)家及首都的位置。
Fill the countries on the map.
England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Dublin, Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff and London.
Step 3 Listening
教師活動(dòng)：教師把本課的'幾部分內(nèi)容進(jìn)行精聽(tīng)，播放各段聲音文件（見(jiàn)ppt.）播放一遍后，給學(xué)生問(wèn)題進(jìn)行回答，之后教師進(jìn)行總結(jié)并且展示各個(gè)國(guó)家的地圖（見(jiàn)ppt.）
