Every year the fourth Thursday in November is Thanksgiving Day .Thanksgiving is a time that I should say thank you.
I want to say thank you, my mother. When I come into the world of that moment onwards, my mother would be the happiest person. When I was a baby, my mother babysat with me and fed me with the milk. When I was a kid, I am not well. I was easy to get a cold. My mother took more careful of me. When I grew up, I started to go to kindergarten. I was too young to go to the kindergarten by myself. So my mother sent me to school every time, even though she was tired after she finished her work. When I was a teenager, I went to high school. Every time after school I came back home, my mother always had made a meal for me and waited for me. Now, I am 20 years old. I am a college student. Every week my mother will call me and talk about how my college life is going. She worried me very much. Actually, I am already an adult. I can take care of myself. But in my mother’s opinion, I am always a child for her. In order to give me a comfortable living environment, my mother is always so hard, so hard. Until now, she has to work. She has to stand bullying and unhappy. At ordinary times, I usually ignore these. But I realize my mother is the most grateful person for me in the world.I think I am selfish. My mother is altruistic. She brings me up. She gives me the opportunity to appreciate the colorful world of life, enjoy the joy of life and the happiness of life. She gives me the care and concern. I want to say thank you, my teacher. I want to thank you for your careful cultivation. I want to thank you for the construction of a knowledge base. There are many things. You are trying to do. Though I did not see it I actually knew in my heart.It is said the teacher is as a gardener, because teachers are hard to cultivate the students of our motherland in the future. It is said the teacher is like a bee, because he keeps working all day, and he teaches the students of our motherland in the future. In my long road of life, the teacher is like a crutch. I started to accept the teacher's care when I was very young. When I encounter difficulties, the teacher will help me. When I encounter setbacks, the teacher will come to comfort and encourage me. Thanksgiving Day is coming. I will be happy because it reminds me that I should be grateful. In my life, there are many people who need to be grateful. As my friends, because they always are here with me when I am in trouble. And my classmates, they always keep company with me in studying. We help each other and we make progress together. And someone that has helped me. I have to know how to return. Even my opponents, I should thank for. Because they make me improve myself and then I become more perfect.
I think I should be grateful not only Thanksgiving Day but also in every moment of my lives. From now, I should be a grateful man who knows how to express my thanks. And if we all know it, the world will be warmer and more beautiful.
