According to report, in China, there are about 70 thousand people killed in traffic accident, accounting for more than 50% of the total number of accidental deaths. Both the traffic accident rate and mortality rank first in the world whose victims are mainly children, adolescents and the elderly. This a a cruel fact. How can we make the roads safer? Remember the following rules.
據報道，中國大約有7萬人死于交通事故，死亡人數超過事故死亡人數的50%。交通事故發生率和死亡率位居世界之首，受害者主要是孩子，青少年和老年人。這是一個殘酷的事實。我們怎樣才能使道路更安全呢？請牢記以下規則。
When you ride a bike or walk in the street, keep yourself in the right side of the road. Don’t cross the road or turn left at a red traffic light. Give a sinal when you want to cross the road or stop. Before corssing the road, stop and look at your right and left sides, making sure that there is no car passing by. Additionally, our government should make more severe traffic rules and punitive measures. Some drivers always violate the traffic rules, which is the main cause to traffic accidents. Therefore, our governmet should play a more important role in preventing traffic accidents.
當你騎自行車或者走在街上的.時候，確保自己走在道路正確的一邊。在紅燈的時候不要穿越馬路或者左轉。當你想過馬路或者停下來的時候要發出信號。在穿過馬路之前，停下來看看左右，確保沒有車經過。另外，政府應該制定更加嚴厲的交通規則及懲罰措施。一些司機經常違反交通規則，這是導致交通事故的主要原因。因此，我們的政府應該在防止交通事故中起到更重要的作用。

Nowadays, thereare many people dying because of traffic accidents. Road safety has arousedmuch attention. Many rules are made to reduce this kind of accidents, but theydo not work very well. In my opinion, we should pay much attention to roadsafety in daily life. When we walk in the street, we must walk in the sideway. Wehave to learn to protect ourselves. Besides, car drivers should obey thetraffic rules. It’s both good to themselves and others. In one word, roadsafety is a big problem that all of us should look out particularly. After all,life is not a small matter.
現在，很多人死于交通事故。道路安全已經引起了很大關注。有關部門制定了很多規則來減少這類事故，但是并沒有起到很大的作用。我認為，在日常生活中我們應該注意道路安全。當我們走在街上的時候，我們必須走人行道。我們必須學會保護自己。此外，汽車駕駛人應該遵守交通規則。這對他們自己和別人都有好處。換句話說，道路安全是個大問題，所有人都應該特別注意。畢竟，生命不是一件小事。
