My favorite animals are swans.they are white.they can swim very well.I think they look like a beautiful girl in a white dress.they have a pair of wings and they can also fly well.I believe they are angles from the sky.they bring us love and make us happy.they are always friendly to us.We can't hurt them,because they are our friend.I love them!I like dogs,too.they are not beautiful,but they are the best friends.they keep the thieves away.
Dogs have the best listening and eyes.they can hear in the nosiy,see in the dark.If we are in danger,they will help us at once.And they don't mind their lives.So,I love them.

There is no denying the fact that keeping pets is a hotly debated topic today. Some people claim that keeping pets is a good thing to do. They believe that pets, like cats and dogs, can help relieve the loneliness suffered by senior citizens and other social members who are confined to their homes for this reason or that. They also argue that keeping pets helps mankind understand animals' world and develop positive feelings toward them.
有一個不可否認的事實，即養(yǎng)寵物是當今一個被熱烈討論的話題。有的人認為養(yǎng)寵物是一件好事。他們認為寵物，比如貓和狗，有助于緩解年長者和那些由于這樣那樣的家庭原因限制的社會成員的孤獨感。他們還認為，養(yǎng)寵物有助于人類了解動物世界，培養(yǎng)對它們的積極態(tài)度。
Others, however, hold the opposite view. They regard keeping pets as a useless but harmful thing to do. Firstly, pets can transmit diseases. Secondly, the noises and dung of pets are sources of pollution. Last but not least, as many rare birds and animals are kept as pets, they will surely be hunted on a large scale, which means a threat to the balance of the ecosystem.
然而，其他人持相反觀點。他把養(yǎng)寵物當做是無用而且有害的事。首先，寵物可以傳播疾病。其次，噪音和寵物糞便是污染的來源。最后，許多珍禽異獸作為寵物飼養(yǎng)，他們一定會被大規(guī)模獵殺，這意味著威脅到生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的平衡。
Weighing the arguments of both sides, I am inclined to agree with the latter. Anyway, we can lessen our loneliness and express our love toward animals in other ways. And it is my beliefs that only by placing man and other species on an equal basis can us expect to have a lively and colorful world.
權(quán)衡雙方的論據(jù)，我更傾向于同意后者。不管怎么樣，我們可以通過其他方式來減少我們的孤獨和向動物表達我們的`愛心。我相信，只有在人類和其他物種平等的基礎(chǔ)上，我們才能期待有一個生動多彩的世界。

Gongsun Yi went away unhappily. He wondered why the cow didnot listen to the nice music. In fact the cow could not understand music. Gongsun Yi just played the music to the wrong audience.
