桑丘，書中另一個主人公，他和堂吉訶德也呼應(yīng)，難辨別他是聰明人還是愚笨人，特別是當(dāng)上了“海島總督”的那一節(jié)，用自己的特有的智慧解決了許多難題。在我看來，作者在桑丘身上謳歌了普通勞動者的.智慧。他的愚笨，其他不說，單說堂吉訶德咽氣之后，桑爾的最后那段話可以管窺一二。當(dāng)然，桑丘的身上也有著民眾愚昧的一面，比如，貪小利，損人利己之類的，不再贅述。
