At noon, I went to the street with ANN to pick gifts for my mother.
We first went to an ornament shop, with a wide range of goods, I was dazzled and I didn't know what to buy. We turn ah, finally picked up a brilliant safety glass, I carefully selected, saw a lovely crystal apple, I bought it, and a beautiful packaging paper. iwd today is an oppurtunity for women to come together and look back on a rich history of struggle for equality,justice, peace and development and to surpport this work in the present and future.
In 1869 British MP John Stuart Mill was the first person in Parliament to call for women’s right to vote. On 19 September 1893 New Zealand became the first country in the world to give women the right to vote. Women in other countries did not enjoy this equality and campaigned for justice for many years.
