書中提到了那些軍官不僅沒有用心作戰，整天花天酒地，除了吃就是跳舞。一到打仗時，不但沒有奮勇殺敵，還四處躲避，有的居然躲進了廁所。這跟抗日戰爭時的英雄反差太大了。這時候，帥克沒有去殺敵，也沒有躲避，炸彈在自己身邊爆炸還無所謂呢!
