“Spring Begins” is the first solar term in the 24 solar terms. In China, it represents the beginning of the spring season. It usually happens between February 2 and February 5when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 315 degrees.“立春”是24節(jié)氣中的第一個(gè)節(jié)氣。在中國(guó)，它代表了春季的開(kāi)始。立春通常發(fā)生在2月2日—2月5日之間，這時(shí)太陽(yáng)到達(dá)天文經(jīng)度315°。

Each of the 12 lunar months encompassed two Jieqi, which were regarded by both the imperial court and farmers as the chronological yardstick through which to plan agricultural production.
