教材 分析

The attributive clause is an important point as well as a difficult point in the English grammar, especially the relative pronouns and adverbs. It is difficult for students to distinguish and grasp them.
學(xué)情 分析
The object of this period is the students of Grade Nine. Students are interested in the visual image of the props. They don’t like “chalk and talk” teaching model, and hope to participate in the class activities.
教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1. Aims of knowledge: Understand the use of the relative pronouns and adverbs and differences between them.
2. Aims of ability: Be able to describe the familiar people and things using the attributive clause.
3. Aims of Emotion: Attract students’ attention and make them interested in English class.
教學(xué) 重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)
Teaching important point:
Understand the use of the relatives.
Teaching difficult points:
1. Grasp the differences between the use of that and which.
2. Grasp the use of relative adverbs.
教學(xué)過(guò)程1. Lead-in:
(1)Present the attributive clause by doing a matching game.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)分解及合并兩句話的形式讓學(xué)生對(duì)定語(yǔ)從句有個(gè)大致的了解,并且能夠激發(fā)他們的興趣。
(2)Analysis the relative and clause
2. Presentation
(1) 分析關(guān)系代詞that 和which引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句
a. 讓學(xué)生合并兩個(gè)句子并從中找出規(guī)律. (ppt展示).
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:采用任務(wù)型教學(xué),讓學(xué)生在完成任務(wù)過(guò)程中學(xué)會(huì)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)。)
This is a dream. The dream will never come true.
----This is the dream which/that will never come true. (作主語(yǔ))
This is the card. I’ve just received the card.
----This is the card (which/that) I’ve just received.(作賓語(yǔ))
小結(jié):先行詞是物的情況下,兩者都可以引導(dǎo),在句中作主語(yǔ)或賓語(yǔ)。作賓語(yǔ)時(shí)可以省略。(找學(xué)生回答)
b. 介紹that 和which的不同用法。(ppt展示)
小結(jié):除非限定性定語(yǔ)從句和介詞提前的情況,that不錯(cuò).
(2)分析關(guān)系代詞that、who、whom、whose的用法。
a. 教學(xué)who 、that的區(qū)別
出示例句,讓學(xué)生自己觀察,分析,總結(jié)。
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生通過(guò)觀察討論得到結(jié)論,避免教師一言堂現(xiàn)象,體現(xiàn)學(xué)生是學(xué)習(xí)的主體。)
b. 教學(xué)who、whom的區(qū)別。(口語(yǔ)中經(jīng)常用who代替whom,但介詞提前時(shí)則不可。)
c. whose的用法。(表所屬關(guān)系)
(3) Exercise: 用適當(dāng)?shù)年P(guān)系代詞填空
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:隨堂檢查,采用形成性評(píng)價(jià)促進(jìn)學(xué)生發(fā)展。)
(4)出示圖片,讓學(xué)生用定語(yǔ)從句來(lái)描述。
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:把所學(xué)知識(shí)運(yùn)用到實(shí)際生活中,發(fā)展學(xué)生的綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力。)c. Exercise. (檢查學(xué)生的掌握情況)。
(5)介紹關(guān)系副詞where、when、why引導(dǎo)的.定語(yǔ)從句
出示例句,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答:關(guān)系副詞=介詞+which
(6)Exercise: 用關(guān)系副詞填空。
3. Practice:
ppt展示六副動(dòng)物的圖片,讓學(xué)生用定語(yǔ)從句描述。
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:動(dòng)物是學(xué)生感興趣的話題,學(xué)生可以很容易的投入到活動(dòng)中,還可以幫助他們復(fù)習(xí)以前學(xué)過(guò)的有關(guān)動(dòng)物的單詞。)

5. Homework
用定語(yǔ)從句描述你熟悉的一個(gè)人。
