英語教案：The Art of Living
一、教材分析
本課是閱讀課, 閱讀材料講述了作者認為貪欲是罪惡起源從剖析人的真實內心出發,講述了貪婪形成的原因是沒有真正地去審視自己,沒有明白自己真正想要的東西。而后作者提出生活的藝術在于要懂得自我滿足,要有感恩的心,這樣我們的內心才會平靜,心胸才會豁達,內心才會真正愉悅。而一旦我們內心達到了真正的愉悅,我們需要的東西就會悄悄來到我們身邊,奇跡常常會降臨在我們身上。當然作者在強調要懂得滿足的同時也強調了我們要熱愛當下所做的事情。中的語言有些比較抽象,而象語文中的借代和比喻在中也隨處可見,雖然對學生的理解會造成一定的障礙,但當障礙排除時所獲得的對人生的感悟無疑是一頓美餐。
二、學生分析
教學對象是桐鄉高級中學的高二學生,作為桐鄉市生源最好的學校,桐高的學生都是百里挑一的好苗子。 高中英語已讀了接近兩年，本人認為他們能用日常英語獲取信息、處理信息、分析問題和解決問題。他們已有自己的學習技能和策略，會把語言學習與現實生活和興趣聯系起來。
相信在任務型課堂活動和學習的實踐中，學生的學習自主性得到加強，不再認為英語的課堂學習很枯燥，能主動參與到活動中去，成為課堂的主體，同時也加強了與他人交流合作的能力。他們會對課文內容提出自己的疑惑和勇于闡述見解，并且從課內知識拓展到課外，通過多種渠道獲取學習資源。當然，學生的水平參差不齊，因此在教學過程中，布置的任務要兼顧各個層次的學生，使他們都有所收獲。
三．設計思想
課堂教學方法的選擇決定著是課堂教學效率的高低�？茖W的學法指導是智能發展目標得以實施的重要途徑。現根據本人對教學理念的理解和桐鄉高級中學中學高二年段的實際教學條件，結合本課的教學內容，在本課教學中，我將突出以閱讀為主線，兼顧結構，適當拓展。通過“任務型”活動培養學生 “跳讀”、“尋讀”、“定位”、“推理歸納”等閱讀方法以及描述、討論等組織語言、運用語言的能力。
從以下幾方面體現了英語新課程的理念。
1、直觀演示法：
通過、圖片、影響等資料等顯示給學生看，便于學生對微觀知識的形象把握，并從舊知識中獲得啟迪，從而達到解決問題的目的。
2、任務教學法：
希望學生學習的知識和希望學生掌握和鞏固的技能隱含在幾項不同的任務中，學生通過對所提的任務進行分析、討論，并在老師的指導和幫助下找出解決問題的方法，最后通過任務的完成而實現對所學知識的意義建構和對技能的培養和鞏固。以“任務型”教學作為課堂教學設計之理念，具體采用分層次教學法和交際教學法,由淺入深，循序漸進，使每個教學環節盡量符合多數學生的認知水平，力爭全班絕大多數同學都能積極參與課堂活動。學生通過聽、說、讀、寫說等各種語言形式來學習和掌握語言，實現目標，感受成功。
3、英語教學和情感教育的有機結合。
本節課中，教師除了盡量營造寬松氣氛，給予學生展示成功的平臺外，處處鼓勵學生運用自主學習、合作學習和探究學習等新的.學習方式，以形成積極的學習態度，促進語言實際運用能力的提高。這是實施新課程最為核心和關鍵的環節。
4、利用現代教育技術，拓寬學生學習和運用英語的渠道。
運用多媒體輔助教學，更體現了課堂教學的大容量、多信息、高效率的優越性，進而達到啟發學生的英語思維，發展交際能力的理想教學效果。
四、教學目標
新課標提出：英語課程的學習，既是學生通過英語學習和實踐活動，逐步掌握英語知識和技能，提高語言實際運用能力的過程；又是他們陶冶情操、拓展視野、豐富社會經歷、開發思維能力和提高人文素養的過程。本課所有的語言知識和語言技能都是圍饒“ the art f living ”這一中心主題而設計的。因此，我把本課的教學目標確定為：
1． 語言知識與技能目標：
1）掌握與“the art f living”話題相關的常用詞匯及主要語言表達形式。
2) 通過幫助學生完成快速閱讀、精讀等練習來進一步理解的細節，
提高學生的閱讀能力。
3）學生之間能交流、合作，共同就 given tpics較好地完成一些開放性話題。
2． 情感態度與文化意識目標
1) 在設計主題的激勵下，師生互動，生生互動，調動學生的學習興趣，加強教師的親和力，增進彼此的了解與溝通，充分發揮情感教學的優勢。
2）讓學生在共同完成一些交流、講述等任務的過程中，加強團體協作意識。
五、教學重點和難點
1、培養學生的閱讀策略，使其形成略讀、跳讀和細讀的能力。
2、掌握與課文有關的詞匯，表達法和句型，并運用到口頭和書面表達中去。
3、幫助學生解決本課的一些困難句型和詞匯，以便讓他們很好的理解。
